Working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and network security — building evaluation frameworks for intrusion detection datasets, studying federated learning under adversarial conditions, and mapping threat coverage gaps in critical infrastructure sectors.
About
I am a cybersecurity researcher with a focus on AI-driven threat detection and network security. Currently pursuing a Professional Master's in Information Technology at Jahangirnagar University, I work at the intersection of machine learning and network intrusion detection systems.
My research addresses a critical gap: existing NIDS datasets often fail to reflect real-world threat landscapes, particularly in critical infrastructure sectors such as energy. I develop evaluation frameworks using MITRE ATT&CK alignment and industry-relevance metrics, and investigate Byzantine-robust federated learning for distributed, privacy-preserving threat detection.
Beyond research I am a BTEB Certified Trainer & Assessor, a CompTIA Security+ certified professional, and an active science communicator through my Medium blog and YouTube channel.
